Pros
This unit is a better buy than the original um series as it now does all the common battery types, not just lithium. With a power source capable of 3 amp “quick charge’ or “qc-3. The power input jack is micro usb on the back.

Very disappointed, what a waste of money. It’s now useless. Not worth the extra" "i contacted nitecore and it is designed this way.
I believe the problem is the micro usb getting loose inside. The plug is already super loose and the only way i could get any light to appear was to physically hold the plug jammed in at a certain angle.
The unit has a serious design flaw which exposes lithium lifepo4 batteries to overvoltage. Do not try to recharge non chargeable lithium primary batteries. Some features turn on only with lithium batteries.
