Packaging/appearance
The whole flashlight is made from aerograde aluminum and has an excellent annodization coating
And i’m pleased to say the digitally regulated step down has never had to actually step the brightness down on the srt7
Improve clip if you try to clip it to something a bit thicker clip comes off the flashlight3
It has been dropped on the hard surfaces and been in rain and snow

71216okay it has now been 1 year since i have owned my “nitecore srt7” flashlight
I have a similar olight and this is a winner in a side by side test
So i ended up buying new 18650 batteries with a nipple and they work fine
Good materials however can be found in many highend flashlight brands

What a piece of crap the shadowhawk is because a couple of my coworkers have the shadowhawk flashlight that is so overadvertise

Unfortunately the srt6 has no red night vision setting so had to jump from the srt5 to this but very happy

The reason i bring this up is i have been through literally 1000s of electronics products and it doesnt matter who or where an electronics product is made nor the level of qc you will always have a certain percentage of products that right out of the box dont even work

While there are a very few reviews that were a single star the overwhelming majority were 5 stars

I personally carry a nitecore cobra and have had many of their other lights and have never had a single problem with any not even after dropping from a 16 ladder onto the concrete or into the 12 section of a swimming pool with the light having been on in both instances
