This thing is incredible. Would highly recommend this product and would buy it again. No complaints here.
I'm grateful to my ninja for rescuing me when my blender broke. It blends so quickly and smoother than any blender i've ever owned. This blender is used daily to process food for a person with disabilities.
The smoothie blender is really good, have used it multiple times with frozen fruit/veggies. It goes through my frozen fruits so easily and the texture is just like a sorbet. I also make hummus using thick tahini and it whips it beautifully.
Cons
There are so many nooks and crannies in the lid it's impossible to clean. Broke within 10 minutes of use. Waste of money.

I dont think you can use it for thick blending i tried blending some really soft potatoes i cut into small pieces to make into mashed potatoes and the motor ran hot
