This product worked flawlessly and probably still would except the mpcie port for the wifi card as well as the 8 i k and buttons stopped working so i have since then stopped using that laptop

Im not a fan of blue leds in general especially in dark rooms however you cant see the led at common angles you use the laptop so i see no point for a lower star review

You could easily purchase an msata drive and plug it in by the ram however the slot there only runs sata ii at 3gbps instead of the main bay which runs at sata iii 6gbps

Plastic feels a little cheap theyve modeled it like a cd drive and its got a blue led thats always on
