I got this as replacement for my broken eyecap since i dropped my camera and the rubber around the eyecap tore saving the camera

A trick to secure little items like this is to put a small drop of hot glue along the top of the eyepiece where it touches the camera body

In order for it to slide correctly in you need remove the previous eyepiece

This is the proper eyepiece for the d7100 the dk21 will fit onto the 7100 but its slightly larger so it doesnt go on all the way which prevents the retention detents from properly securing it in place
