Physically, this lens is built like a tank, comfortably solid. Weight promotes better stability with hand-held images and keeps my vehicle from skidding on icy roads. One minor problem is that it comes in a huge hard-sided case.

    Of course that was in the full frame days which means the 17mm side of the lens looks so wide and i got very creative with the shots i was taking
