Pros

Zeikos ze-uv77 77mm multi-coated uv filter has a metal ring that appears well-machined and has received good reviews, but it is difficult to remove. If you have a nice tripod and aren't going to be rough with the plastic ring or threads, you should bu...  Read More

It's like the old timex commercial it takes a liking and keeps on ticking. When i break the lens, that's how much i love it. It's not bothersome at all.

Built ruggedly and incredibly sharp. It feels really good hefting a hunk of metal. It's very sharp but does exhibit slight distortion at widest aperature.

It's a heavy beast, so hand shots are flaky. The only drowback of this lens is its weight specially when used with a heavey wieghted camera body. In reality it weighs almost as much as my d3.

Internal motor eases the load on the camera. While it isn't the fastest focus, it is plenty fast for me. Great lens to shoot sport outdoors, and indoors if you have a tripod handy.

Cons

The lens itself is great, but my images contained about 30 either dust or oil spots that made it too impractical to keep. The front glass visibly rattles when you move it.

The serial number should be just above the lens mount on the bottom of the lens

Received the lens well and arrived a lot earlier than expected but as i was using it its sadly has a big backfocus issue especially at 200mm that even af fine tune on the nikon d7000 cant fix so hopefully next time the seller can add more details on the conditions of there lenses like any repair history autofocus issues lens sharpness etc
