There are no directions but at least for the h4 bulb the mounting base comes off with about a 14 turn

Initially they just put a spot on the ground in front of the bike so i had to raise them

I was glad to see that the low beam leds have a little shield that keeps the cutoff pretty clean as ive seen some other h4 replacement bulbs which scatter a ton of light above the horizon which can e really annoying to others
