    I had to use the clamp that puts the tightening portion inside the water

    Adapter clamp does not fit on tanks with large rims 75 gallon tanks or larger but fits nicely on 55 gallon tanks or smaller

    I took the screw part of the clamp off and sat it on the side of my aquarium and taped it to stay on
