Set the time and make sure when you set the schedule that you make sure that the on auto and off button on the bottom left is set to auto otherwise the schedule wont commence

I do recommend charging it for awhile then taking it of the outlet to program i tried programming it on the wall it was difficult

However using this on a power strip will take up at least three outlets and cant go at the top since it wont sit correctly
