Reassured i plugged it in and set the temperature to 180c as that was the suggested heat temperature for my hair type as detailed on the included instruction leaflet

The units rated voltage 110v220vthe units rated power 29wthe instructions suggest different temperatures for different types of hair as followsfor fine hair 170200cfor normal hair 190210cfor thick hair 210230cwhen you switch on the unit press onoff button for 3 seconds you need to set your desired temperature
