Pros

Small, compact, easy to set on a shelf. Bought this in 2013. It's durable and lightweight.

One of many staples in one of many utility drawers. You position the positive side (for most batteries, it is the side with the bump) toward the red colored bottom jaw.

This tester eliminates a large source of uncertainty. My mac computer keyboard and mouse run on batteries. Our flashlight runs on batteries, too.

Cons

The item is totally dead. It is worthless. It only measures voltage to determine the batter has 1. The battery volts have to below one volt before any indication of below-good.

Big and clunky. This is cumbersome and clumsy in size and operation.
