The soft part is very soft this isnt a bad thing but since the hard plastic doesnt extend over the very top or the very bottom of the phone those areas stretch no so different than a rubber band if something snags them

This case is the only case that slides in and has at least the gel protection for the top and bottom edges of the phone

I tried the belt clip for about an hour with the phone in a vertical position but did not like how big te new phone seemed in that position
