Pros & Cons
Pros
Strong pure ginger flavor. This is nicely crystallized. No 'off' (rancidity) flavor. Not as flavorful as coconut without the added sugar, but i like the mildly flavored crunchiness.
They are not hard, but somewhere between jell-o and licorice. Other than having to chop it by hand, it’s a great product.
Great for a snack and healthy fats for a nice long energy burn. Provides medium-chain triglycerides (mcts) which deliver energy directly to brain cells, bypassing glucose metabolism. Great for nibbling after meals.
Cons
The texture of the product is barely chewable. You have to keep masticating to break the piecies down because they develop into sharp chunky pieces and you choke on them. The packaging says gluten free, but also may contain wheat.
