At one point i lost this thermometer and since i needed another quickly i went to target and bought their brand

The beeping helps me know im getting an accurate reading and i found that my readings with the target brand were much more variable and hard to interpret probably due to this more than any defect in the sensor

I also didnt like that the target thermometer didnt have a backlight so i had to use my phone or a lamp to see the temp

Its accurate easy to use and the beeping is really not that loud

It starts beeping quietly which reassures me that its working and it does a louder beep when its done
