My baby loves this mattress! Much happier than in the bassinet. It is worth every penny to have the peace of mind that our baby can breath through it.
The newton is firm enough for a newborn/toddler while still having enough give that it doesn't feel like laying on a board. It's just the right firmness without feeling like a rock or the feeling that you're sinking in.
Cons
The smell of this mattress when you first open the box is the wool, no way! Almost smelled like some type of voc plasticizer.
