I have a 2 year old and planned on reusing his mattress for my new daughter when she was born

We had a standard crib mattress at the time and it was terrifying to see him with his face just planted square into the matress

Firm matress my newborn sleeps well on it

Even though 99 of the reviews on amazon were 5star i did see one or two older negative reviews talked about a plasticy smell

So after learning that most “organic” mattresses are wrapped in nonbreathable fabrics or even plastic it was a bit of a nobrainer
