However there are quirks in el capitan osx thinks its a keyboard and pops up a setup screen when the dongle is inserted

The beam is not dangerous to the eyes unless you consciously stare at it intentionally for long periods of time

It does not show on flat screen tvs so dont get it for that you can see it a little bit but its not bright enough

The bottom of the pointer has a small storage for the receiver once you plug the receiver into your laptop or pc it pairs on its own basically plug and play no external software needed
