To waste $20 just to get the one that fits but if you’re desperate that’s what i would advise. Unfortunately the screw on the end is too small. Not pleasant. Caused a blowout. Pretty much useless for my situation.
Taper for externally threaded jewelry is not 16g. Doss not fit my 14g jewelry. I have a 14g bar and it seems too small to fit correctly into the end of the taper.
The taper end just floats inside because it’s significantly smaller than the inside of the jewelry. It leaves the threads exposed and edges which scratches its way in.

They were the right size very sturdy and worked great
Both seem to be good quality and the externally threaded one screwed perfectly into a 14g internally threaded horseshoe

Saved me around 100 from not going to the piercers place
Way cheaper than from the piercing store or tattoo parlor
A bit pricy but exactly what i needed

Came very fast and didn’t irritate my piercing at all

However i didnt notice they sell a curved one until after this shipped which would have worked better for my purpose

I always thought it was a 10 gauge to begin with but i was sad to find out that when i ordered a captive bead ring to replace my circular barbell my current piercing was not a 10 gauge but probably 12 gauge and then i ordered this taper to switch out my ring
