It limits how far the head can be turned to the sides and once you reach the max minimal pressure will cause the plastic connection wheel to snap leaving the lamphead dangling loose and pretty much unusable

Instead of sending the wheel they sent me a new lamp even though it was long out of warranty

Since im already 62 years old the lamp should technically last longer than i will since i dont use it every day and even when i do its not always for 3 hours a day
