It's worthless if i can't change the filter. Time to take my business elsewhere and drop my new wave enviro 10 stage water filter in the trash. The replacement filters are just as costly as the unit.

The failure is a crack in the housing which is plainly visible. It's as if this unit was defectively sealed or defectively assembled. The manufacturing was flawed.
