Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

It's super easy to clean in a dishwasher. Good to be stainless steel, too. My only issues with the chino is its' handle.

It meets my expectations for canning tomato juice. Comes with a wooden pusher to speed up the straining process. Used this to process 2# of tomatoes in about 5 min.

Cons

The base is quite flimsy and feels as though it will collapse if too much pressure is put on the wooden rolling pin. The pin doesn't fit the shape of the cone. When the pestle is in the strainer, the top of the taper is some 1/4 from the mesh side.

Wooden pestle has very little contact with the chinois mesh. This is a perforated metal strainer with large holes, not a chinois. It has rough edges which grinds on the wooden pestlewhen used.

The handle is hurtful to use and the legs are wobbly. The device and legs are flimsy.

The design leaves a little to be desired. Product engeneers have somehow figured out a way to ruin it. Lots of sharp edges and broken welds.

A smaller bowl is okay because the juice will stick to the side of the unit and drip from the very bottom
