Pros

The product matches the exact description and even includes the t10 screwdriver that helps take off the disc drive. Its smooth when pulling in and ejecting discs as well, without scratching them. I'm confident this rom works fine.

There are tons of how to videos on yt and they came in handy. Took about an hour to install just need a little patience and kinda steady hands. Seems like a great product for backwards comparable ps3 systems.

Thank you nextec for delivering a product worthy of a review. Thanks to nextec, my ps3 has a new lease on life. Looking at the paperwork that came with this drive, nextec says to go to their website install link.

Cons

The drive i bought is faulty and doesn't accept discs. I sent it to them (the same video includes in this review) nothing but crickets after that. The warranty is void.
