That second layer though seems to be stuck on a bit too tight i made the mistake of peeling the entire screen protector off because of this
Because of this i highly advise you use some clear tape for the install i used some clear scotch packaging tape to be exact

I tried using both of the bottom screen protectors that came with the package neither would fit the screen the right way and the bubbling was awful

It makes your screen go like one level down in brightness normal in this type of protectors

It does protect my new 3ds but does not fit the bottom touch screen all the way so there is this small gap between the screen protector and the edge of the screen

Also please update the installation instructions on the back that clearly reflect the 3ds

The directions are for the iphone although some instructions are similar the part where is says to peel the blue and the red layer are actually the opposite

About 99 of the screen is covered and if you take your time you should get no air bubbles
