Of course you dont want to be in the house when its operating as it is very dangerous to your health so we left it running for 70 minutes although it will go as long as 2 hours

What we did notice though is that if you leave it on and dont let the house air out long enough the house will smell like charcoal but that goes away shortly when the doors and windows are open
