This game is a win for her, and a fun time for us. It encourages cooperation and compassion for the baby dinosaurs. I love that in this game you work together to win, because my son is a horrible loser. It also teaches strategy.
Easy to learn (under 5 mins) but addictive. In an elementary way, it teaches how to think a little ahead and make the best possible moves. I have a 4, 7 & 9 year old.

Biggest frustration for kids is when they get a lava card and are unable to play any other card that round
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Not that the frustration is a bad thing but there is a possibility that one kid will draw almost all fo the lava cards and have less opportunities to move characters in a given round
