Pros & Cons
Pros
These are my favorite broadheads. I have taken animals as large as moose with this broadhead. Easy to change blades and reused it after a successful hunt. Great head. Great blade design.
They fly like field tips and blast through game like butter. They are very accurate and deadly. Zipped right thru elk, deer, and a bear.
Cons
It leaves a small gap showing where the blades come out of the bottom of the head. Just won't fly straight at all. I hope nap gets this figured out.
Highlights
Quality
I currently use them on ce piledriver hunter 350 with the preditor vanes out of my truth ii by bear at 65lbs with a qad rest
They hit in the same spot as with the field tips
Packaging/appearance
I like that i can just replace the blades on the broadheads and it saves me money
Competitiveness
I have used numerous brands of broadheads in over thirty years i have always gone back to thunderheads
I shot two pigs this past year using 125 grain thunderhead broadheads
