I think this is partly because this product does not contain any sls sodium laurel sulfate which is very irritating and there are some concerns about its toxicity

One of the reviews did mention breakouts when not using the product and i would have to agree with the same

With regards to overdrying i could see how it might be overdrying for someone with dry or even normal skin so try at your own risk or maybe even just once a day
