Stainless steel firstly, it looks good, and is reassuringly sturdy. The size is exactly what we needed, saving us from throwing out the thrash daily.
Cons
Batteries required are 2xd not 3xc which i purchased at great expense. Customer service never reply to there contact email service. I am reluctant to spend another £26 on the batteries.

Bin lid barely opens and when it does it shuts down immediately and the red light keeps flickering. No reply to the question about the smell and hygiene issue with not having a bin lid.

The lid pops up when your hand passes near the sensor then shuts within 5 seconds so youve more than enough time to drop your waste into the 50 litres capacity bin so it ticks the boxes there
