Pros
Instant info, graphs for everything with minimum finger presses. The main menu and information sections are easily accessible and rotating the screen to landscape brings up the various graphs. Well worth the money. It's absolutely superb.
The netatmo app is intuitive and easy to use. Works well on ios, android and windows pc. Allows you to see the weather data from friends and family netatmo stations.
The netatmo weather station works 24 hours a day without the need to keep a computer switched on. You can monitor the weather in your own neighbourhood using the built-in sensor. The weather can also be monitored using a smartphone app.
Temperature measurements are spot on and barometer pressure agrees with the only remaining working part of my old weather station. Outdoor remote sensor covers temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure.
What i particularly like is the buckle / hook and loop strap (on the outdoor unit) it allowed easy attachment to a guttering down-pipe - doddle. Comes with velcrose and a screw for fixing.
Cons
First model developed an issue with batteries draining away very quickly. Battery on the the outdoor module depleted to 58% after 14 days - nothing like the 5-6 months promised! It is not 'fit for purpose' netatmo support is worse than useless.
As you zoom out of a chart it starts hiding data points and you lose detail. The interface has very limited scope for data analysis. It supports alexa but the integration is a bit rubbish. No useful help from netatmo except for a number of app updates... Read More

Quality of the devices build very well and the packing box presentation is acceptable

The wifi connection is ok in my case but this is likely to be a very relative point as wifi is in and of itself a fractious topic for some people as there can be numerous issues people have with coverage and interference

If you don’t think you’ll value the intricacies of the metrics on offer then just stick with other online local weather functions such as the weather underground service

As a long time netatmo fan my only hesitation is that the units do occasionally disconnect from the wifi router in which case there is a hole in the data which is a shame

Signal strength between base outdoor and rain unit all visible in the app as is battery power
