The lattissima one heats up very quickly and brews the coffee in roughly one minute. It heats up quickly for straight espresso and pretty fast for milk drinks as well. It makes coffee effortlessly.
The design of the lattissima one is very much consistent with nespresso's earlier predecessors. Putting this side by side really makes the old one look dated in comparison. The one is definitely a nice improvement.

Original lines up features many machines that have milk brothers inbuilt whereas vertuo line up does not have inbuilt milk frother and you have to buy additional aeroccino milk frother which is either sold separately or bundled with the machine
