Pros
Comes with a nespresso sampler which is very helpful to figure out which coffees are preferred over others. Comes with the nice variety pack of various pod sizes from espresso, to doulbe shot, to 5 oz and also 7.
The dolce is amazing. Nothing flimsy or cheap about it. Easy to set up and use.
It's like the vertuo plus is a doorway to a new dimension. It makes my place smell wonderful and it’s all now part of my morning ritual. Who knows and who cares!
Cons
It works a couple of times, then malfunctions again. Now my machine has a mind of its own and only works a day here and a day there when it pleases. They're willing to refund me, but i want a machine that works.
It’s a pain. Unbelievable ripoff. Total fraud.
Only one sheet of bubble wrap to protect the machine. Plastic was all scratched up. There was no starter set.
The crema is no longer rich and thick, but rather frothy and thin. I troubleshot with support, which were nice and sent a new water canister. Sooo much water.
Nespresso machine shakes so much it broke the cup and the others on the counter. The pods were dated 8/1/2021, best used 11-1-2021. The cost of the 8 pods or 10 espresso pods were also crushed.

Then i came across nespresso on sale
But then again i had a 4 latte for the cost of 1
Packaging/appearance
4 stars because i think the packaging could have been better

The box i received it in was torn and taped up in different parts
Upon opening the box though everything seemed intact
Competitiveness
I would recommend this or any other nespresso coffee maker
I tried keurig and other coffee brewing methods and while they all produced coffee none had the same bright zing as my beloved verissmo
The quality of the coffee from this machine is 10x better than that of the keurig in my opinion
The pods are bit pricey and not as easy to find as other coffee makers but this was a great buy to replace the keurig
