The ball itself is very ridged and holds up to play. My gsd loves this ball. I have a 3 year old doberman that weighs 105 lbs.

He's a bit of an aggressive chewer so i expect toys not to last very long. After playing with it for less than 20 minutes he’d started to chew bits off the end of the ball.
