No issues with the cable and for my original xbox without any issues

So far there hasnt been any signs of overheating or problems with the cord

6b xbox quite a while ago and it included the protection cable with the wall wart from microsoft

But none the less informed the company and gave me a full refund to make up for the faulty wire
