Pros & Cons
Pros
Nemo is very comfortable and warm. Keeps me a lot warmer in a tent hoisted on the sand. Not as comfy as an air pad, but more reliable and durable. Great price and a lightweight that won't drag your pack down. I am a side sleeper and my hips were great... Read More
Super lightweight. As far as durability it seems well made and durable. Could have been slightly thicker but great value for the money.
Took this on a 9 day backpacking trip. My only quibble is it is quite large for backpacking. I went ahead and bought a tensor, thus this one is now lives in the spare stuff tote.
Cons
The raised dimples are the culprit of that thickness illusion. They flatten at pressure points and soon stop coming back up. I like foam pads so my disappointment isnt from comparing it to inflatables.
Highlights
Quality
I did an at section hike in early november and was very pleased with the pads performance
Exactly what you would expect from a lightweight quality sleeping pad
Spend a night on it as proof of concept but will stick with the neoair for now for myself
It was taped haphazardly and the tape was adhered to the product
Price
My only issue is the price is probably too high to justify it
Packaging/appearance
I also notice that where i have it strapped to the bag it is curving and showing wornscuff spots where the straps hold it onto the pack
The only thing is if u are planning on putting it on the outside of the pack it might get hit damaged by things on the trail like by trees
Competitiveness
I used this atop a thermarest ridgerest classic foam camping sleeping pad and was comfortable enough for sleeping on the beach ... Read More
Neat little trick i bought a fullsize then cut it down to torso length by removing 4 panels
62 inches compared to a lofty
