I was delighted to get these to put on the side of my refrigerator but if i put the labels on the top of the jars the darkness of the spices obscures the name of the spice which is written in black lettering on clear labels

If i put them on the side i will still have to take every canister off the fridge to read it

I think i may make up some labels of my own with a different color of type
