I suggest securing the wires at handle ends with insulating tape to reduce the risk of pulling the wire out by accident. Perhaps file pin ends a bit for better soldering.

The device is basic and will work in a jiffy for simple tasks. Comes with battery installed. There are a number of other features that may well be of use to electronics hobbyist.

If your using this somewhat frequently or if you want something even remotely professional quality you should look elsewhere. Build quality is of questionable build quality.
