Very high quality workmanship leaves no reason for complaints here
Unit itself is very high quality for a super cheap cam stabilizer
The quality is great and my footage is coming out very stable
Price
I think this stabilizer is very practical and worthy of the price
Great price to get started on stabilizing
Packaging/appearance
I also bought an adapter vastar model c4 to mount the smart phone to the neewer quick release plate
Competitiveness
Returned and tried again with this neewer one
It did work well with a rebel t6i with a 50mm 1
Would not balance with my d810 and tamron 2470 2

Amazing steadycam but needs a little bit if practice and your knowledge about steady cams will determine how long will it take to learn it so i personally watched youtube videos on how to balance and how to shoot with it and it only took me 3 weeks to be quite good at this thing but not professional and yeah watching youtube videos about how this function will help alot coz it’s a manual stabilizer and your hand should get used to it first

The steadycam i got is a bit different than the picture shown

It has a twist tight midsection instead of the clamp over shown in listing photo
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Can be a bit of a pain lining up the top and bottom halves because twisting it tight moves whatever half you are not holding on to
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The clamp design shown would have been better because it tightens perpendicular to the unit
