The manual is written so poorly that it is impossible to understand exactly how the functions are supposed to be controlled and i am usually pretty tolerant of that because my wife is chinese and i speak a little chinese so we can usually figure out what they were trying to say

So it sends little electrical shocks into your neck like a static electrical zap and the muscles in your neck jump creating the massage effect

There is no mechanical massaging and so far i can detect no heating function
