However, i can say that the quality of sound recording is much better than my other microphones.
Beyond that, build quality is high and so has been the vocal quality.
Hopefully they can clarify this point in the future on the product info.
The quality of the mic is excellent.
Price
Surley the price is too low for any really good quality.
Competitiveness
Lots of fun with this crazy retro usb microphone made by neat (a gibson brand).
At current price of $99 this seems a good value when perusing other offering out there in the same price range.
Overall 5-star rating from me in consideration of price/value.
I use wirh audacity and it's clear not background humming etc.

The sound was good, but it picked up the sound of fluorescent lights - easily dealt with using a free virtual sound board.
