A very good read for any dog lover or patriot. These are remarkable creatures. If you like stories of heroism, patriotism, courage and man's best friend then this is the book for you.
Cons
This book gets confusing fast and the font is small on the paperback, so if you can’t see very well i suggest not to read this book. The anecdotes are identical.

I enjoyed every bit while i was reading it but – and perhaps this is just the nature of nonlinear nonfiction for me – i could still easily put it down and not feel compelled to finish until i had a bit of free time to work on it some more

I think it was just less gripping than the topic had me anticipating because its mostly short vignettes of individual dogs or military operations

I was kind of disappointed that there wasnt more as it was mainly just the earlier section of the book describing the authors journey into professional training
