Pros

Ride is smooth and seat is comfortable. Comfortably riding position with adjustable seat position and recline. The pedals are large and easily adjustable to your foot size.

It’s quiet and stable. The mechanics are very quiet. The machine noise level isn't absolutely quiet like my old s23, but tolerable.

It seems to be mechanically well-made. It was buried deep inside the big box and yet has a nice nick in the corner. But i give credit to nautilus for a packing job that was good enough to protect this bike from the incompetence of ups.

All hardware and tools needed are on a thick square of shrink wrapped cardboard. Includes extra parts in case a washer or nut rolls off your hand and ends up beneath your 200lb sofa.

The display panel is easy to operate and see. I hope it outlives me (i'm 78). But like some have said, the lighting on the monitor is crazy bright.

Cons

The fan is laughably inadequate, but better than no fan. The choice * below the lower lcd display are not lighted at all. The screen is very bright and difficult for me to read.

Nautilus says it will take 8-10 weeks to schedule a return then comes the refund. They beg forgiveness because of covid-19 sales volumes. If a customer pays for expert assembly, is that person going to return to re-install the defective parts?

Stay away and find a better model without these shortfalls. It is not clear if it is electrical or melting plastic. My suggestion is not to buy a nautilus bike or any of their models.

Seems like a well made solid product

After regular heavy use the resistance control is failing most likely servo motor

If there were even a little quality control this would not pass

I would definitely recommend this for anyone not looking to spend a ton of money on a nice piece of exercise equipment

Overall a good bike for the price

Not sure its entirely fair to have to pay full price for a damaged product

Just got the bike delivered yesterday morning assembled it in the afternoon with no problems

Took about two months to receive them

I received and assembled my nautilus r618 yesterday

We received the bike quickly after placing the order

One bad thing you get lots of that nasty styrofoam in the packaging

But i give credit to nautilus for a packing job that was good enough to protect this bike from the incompetence of ups

This brand is clearly a class above most recumbent bikes on the market today

I bought the r618 directly from nautilus to replace a 15yearold schwinn s23 which works perfectly today
