And the pea coat fits over my suit in the x-large. I’m a pretty tall guy so i wish the sleeves were just a bit longer. This is a very comfortable, lighter coat that won't make you sweat when you go indoors with it on.
It's not overly heavy like my other full length overcoats. The quality of the coat is superb and just what i was looking for.
The material is outstanding, the lining quilted and warm. Sturdy material. Material is nice and as expected in terms of thickness.
Cons
The outer wool part feels a bit felty, thin, and rough - not like typical soft wool. This collar has ugly light blue detailing that is revealed when turned up, ruining the aesthetic. A real peacoat is made of 100% wool.
It appears the sizing is inconsistent. Amazon’s size guide is completely inaccurate. Xxl and 2x are not equal and the big & tall sizes are significantly larger than the regular.
The sleeves come down to middle of my hands. Is is too loose across my abdomen. A problem not so much of the jacket, but probably of my torso and shorter height.

While the batting inside the coat isn’t as thick as some similar coats it is still very warm and the person that received it is warm nnatured anyways
