From the perspective of a small bird finch it is challenging to figure out how to land on it and where to stand to reach the seeds

As you can see i have two feeders and the smaller one the birds will go through the seeds sometimes in less than four days

I purchased the large cfw3 platform feeder and set it up as a catch all for the seeds that all birds want to discard to get to their preferred seed

I only get three birds usualy one or two cardinals a bluejay and mostly mourning doves which are a fairly large bird sometime the size of pigeons
