Pros & Cons
Pros
It looks good and outdoorsy. Seems sturdy. During the hot arizona summers, people tend to use no-melt suet.
Smaller woodpeckers are constantly on this feeder as well as chickadees and titmice. Wren, titmouse, chickadee, and woodpecker love it.
The pileated woodpecker loves the long tail rest. The grackles however are hilarious frantically flapping their wings while they hover in the air upside down feeding without attaching to the mesh. The best thing is the starlings are afraid of it!
Cons
Only squirrel proof seems to be suet with hot peppers. I have not 1 bird touch this feeder. Not a sap *,wood *,nut hatcher or wren.

It took the woodpeckers quite a while to discover where the suet was but i think it was worth the wait

This feeder provides hours of humor as sparrows and chickadees attempts to hang and feed as the woodpeckers and white breasted nuthatches do

The suet lasts longer since it isn’t so easy for all birds to feed

Other birds can’t hang upside down for very long except for woodpeckers because of how their feet are shaped

Lots of birds prefer to hang on to the side instead of sitting on a perch
