The sides of the lamp are sanded or planed very well and excellent workmanship is quite evident

The actual color of the lamp is a light slate gray and not real dark

On this lamp it doesnt have the same effect which makes me believe that it is some type of stone instead

Im still keeping it though cause i do love the look of it but i dont think its worth 70 bucks and if youre looking for detoxifying effects this one might not do it for you
