We have a corner of our house where roof eave exterior wall and pool screen meet and the squirrels love to use the screen to access the roof and also to hold onto in order to gnaw on the wood eave

It doesnt stop them jumping onto that screen area completely however they dont stay on it and therefore dont create the damage or level of noise

One other thing to note although the product is labeled as peppermint smell and i occasionally get a whiff of that it is a horrible smell when you are spraying it

It does seem to help mice problem i was having not sure about the time between retreating though

Was having problems with squirrels nesting in my fabric plant covers during cold spells and shredding the stuffing from inside guess they are building nests
