The only negative is the magnet you put inside the case of your phone wont allow you to wirelessly charge the phone without taking the case off

It can not go on a textured part of the dash or it will not hold

If you have any sort of armor all type residues or oils from your hands touching it if you apply the adhesive it will not hold
