Pros

Strong, rugged. Gave a nice, industrial look to an exterior wood gate. Very sturdy. I predict they'll do the job for a long time without significant rusting.

All holes are square punched so that you can use carriage bolts to secure it to the gates without worrying about someone using a screwdriver or wrench to remove the latch. Bought to replace a broken lock on a door to our tanning room in our shop.

Not insanely hard to install. Easy to install and use.

Cons

Latch is too short to accommodate carriage bolts. Receiver hitch part is too loose for the pin.

I rarely give negative reviews, but this product is a stinker. Great concept, but horrible design and execution. Straight refund via chatbox.

Packaging of both arrived damaged despite the outer box not being damaged at all

Just wish it came with more than two carriage bolts
