Its maps show only the most recent divisions of the middle east

I believe national geographic has a map that is far more detailed for free in one of their subscription magazines sent monthly

As with most nat geo atlas they print right up into the binding but with the larger atlas it lays open flat and this is a feature but with this smaller book you loose some data in the crease
